Shalam fam,

To a fact, this is true because women who dress provocatively may have the inclination of attracting attention, knowingly or not.  However, in a man I would think it's all about the intent of mind, whether he's in control of his sexual orientation or not in control of it. As Christ said, ---

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."   Matthew 5:28

"Stumble not at the beauty of a woman, and desire her not for pleasure."  Ecclesiasticus 25:21

On the other hand, a man may be into the aesthetics rather than the "eye candy" of it all, however, again depending on the strength of his sexual orientation.

"The beauty of a woman cheereth the countenance, and a man loveth nothing better."  Ecclesiasticus 36:22

Therefore, as men we are admonished to strengthen our weaker nature by deflating sexual pride and mortify the flesh in order to become a well balanced man of Israel.

"Turn away thine eye from a beautiful woman, and look not upon another's beauty; for many have been deceived by the beauty of a woman;  for herewith love is kindled as a fire."  Ecclesiasticual 9:8

With Christ there are no questions --- Without Christ there are no answers

Let me add some precepts to help

Col 3:5 KJV - Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Rom 8:13 KJV - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name

Nice topic B! Thawadah for bringing the scriptural references Evidence and Chaarash!
1 Corinthians 1:4-10 - " Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away."
