Excellent points Evilslayer,
My recent experiences are teaching me just that!
Sirach 3:24 For many are deceived by their own vain opinion; and an evil suspicion hath overthrown their judgment.

Evilslayer, your words are very true.
Romans 2:23-24 "Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written."
Because many of our brothers and sisters have conducted themselves unlawfully, the truth of the Most High is frowned upon. Many people have been wrongfully offended, mistreated and abused by those that profess to be holy and righteous. Because of the malice, many innocent Israelites have fallen to the wayside and have chosen to return to the world since they saw no difference in the Israelite behavior to that of a worldly individual. So the truth receives a bad reputation and our work is made harder to gather the people. And with all the negative crap regarding Israel that's floating around on the internet, we are going to have to work overtime to get to our people.
Israel will be Victorious!!!! We just have to endure the B.S!!!

I'm still confused. Is it lawful or unlawful to commit polygamy or have more than one wife in this present time?

BelieverNGod, This aspect of the law has not been done away with (Matt 5:17-18) Therefore it is lawful.
Matthew 5:17-18 , or the prophets: 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law , but to fulfil. I am not come to destroy
For verily I say unto you, 18 Till heaven and earth pass, , till all be fulfilled. one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law __________________ "Knowledge and wisdom shall be the stability of thy times and strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is his treasure" Isaiah 33:6

What do you say to brothers that use this law as a way to sleep with multiple sisters? Also can you please explain the difference between a wife and a concubine.

Webster's defines a concubine: as
one having a recognized social status in a household below that of a wife. The difference between the two is that a Wife had the title and position in the household as being above the concubine. A concubine could have been inherited by the man as a servant, spoils of war, or could have been a handmaid or servant of the Wife of the Husband before they got married and came as part of the package so to speak. And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's If you read Gen 29::35-35 you'll see this is where Jacob labored 14 years for Leah and Rachel as his wives, however you'll notice that his Father in Law gave each of them handmaids (Bilhah and Zilpah). Reading in Chapter 30 which gives the births of the 12 Tribes, you'll see that Bilhah and Zilpah were Jacob's concubines. Check: Gen 35:22 : and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: concubine This was the transgrssion of Reuben for sleeping with Jacob's concubine Bilhah. So obviously they had a status enough that if another man slept with her it would be transgression as in adulterous, but they didn't have the status of a wife. Typically the concubine was of another nation, which is why she wasn't recognized the same as an Israelite woman (Wife). Here's an example of a captured woman of war (concubine) according to the law Deut 21:10-14 When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, [ 11] And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; [ 12] Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; [ 13] And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. [ 14] And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her. She had to be purged and humbled. Again she was recognized with the status of a wife due to her laying with her the man of Israel, however if he was married she would fall in order whether it was #2 or 3 etc.. She also would be the servant of the wife if need be. Remember Hagar and Sari (Gen 16). Again remember the concubines were other nations I Kings 11:3 shows that there was a distinction. Being that we're not at war, and we're not living as a Nation righteously and we don't have servants and handmaids, someone to claim they have a concubine in today's times would be out of line. The criteria just can't be met. Outside of that brother's sleeping with women and not following the scriptures and making them his wife(s) would be committing fornication, which is sex with no committment, Harlotry, and promoting adultry. Hope that helps Shalam! __________________ THE TRUTH HURTS ONLY IF YOUR LIVING A LIE!
